Dermatologists suggest a few quick ways one can achieve gorgeous skin instantly.

Water to your rescue: As doctors suggest, a minimum of eight glasses of water on a daily basis. You can also increase your water intake by 10-12 glasses gradually. Says dermatologist Dr Apratim Goel, "Water is magic for the skin. It instantly perks your skin and makes it look nourished and well-hydrated. Though one must drink plenty of water on an everyday basis, however, if you just have one or two glasses of water just before you step out of your house, and keep sipping on it through the day, it will keep your skin glowing for a long time."

Opt for a brightening mask: Though there are several face masks which make your skin look healthy, a brightening mask instantly perks your skin and helps you achieve a flawless look within minutes. If you do not have the time to apply a brightening face mask, don't worry, you can always squeeze a lemon and rub a few drops of it on your face before you wash it off with lukewarm water. Lemon contains brightening properties and lightens your skin instantly.

Use a moisturiser to hydrate your skin: A moisturiser has qualities that can make your skin look healthy within a few seconds. If you feel that your skin is looking drab, just take a few drops of an aloe vera or any light-weight moisturiser and apply this to the problem areas. Massage it well onto your skin and you feel it seems a bit greasy, wipe it off using cotton pad.

Touch up using a mousse: Use a mousse when you walk out of the house. It not only hides those blemishes and acne marks, but also makes your skin look plumper. A mousse has the power to highlight your best features. Further, it makes your skin look flawless and gives a nice glow to your face which lasts for a long duration of time.

Snack on vitamin C: A dose of vitamin C just before you step out of your house will bring a glow to your face. Dermatologist Dr Aparna Santhanam says, "Vitamin C has the power to brighten your complexion and keep it glowing for a good amount of time. Thus, half an hour before you step out, make sure to drink one glass of orange or lemon juice so that your skin stays fresh and glowing."
