Negative space nail art, anyone?

Do away with the heavy and make some 'space' -on your nails! One of the biggest takeaways of the New York Fashion Week, Spring 2015, the negative space nail art is taking the world by storm.

The minimalistic concept has uncoloured nails peeping through the bold lacquers -much like flashing skin through cutout dresses. The trend has been named such because 'negative space' is a technique in art in which the blank portion contributes to the overall composition of the work.

Nail expert Bidisha Das said, "I have had many city fashionistas coming to me asking for elegant but different nail art forms. Negative space nail art is the answer to their prayers. It can be done using any colour, from neons to pastels. I personally think it looks best on mint."

The hassle-free technique looks good on short as well as long nails and can be worn with Indian and western wear. We are crushing on this chique and classy trend. Are you?
