If you want to grow a bear but don't know what kind to go for, here is a quick guide, based on your hairstyle.

For longer hair:
f you have a length that is below the ears and touching your shoulder, go for a full beard. Just make sure your keep your beard maintained and clean, as it's unkempt and messy, it can look too casual. Wear your hair swept back for a more formal look.

For very short hair:

If you keep your hair short and conventional, go for a stubble. The stubble adds a touch of masculinity and still maintains a casual look. It is a great beard to maintain, and looks can look formal or casual, depending on how you style your hair.

For a haircut with fringe:
If you have a side fringe, accompany it with a short, shaggy beard. The beard will add a masculine touch to your side fringe hairstyle. Just make sure the sides of your hair are kept at the right length.
