‘Paddington’ bear inspires a coat fashion trend

The iconic bear from the film Paddington has given a new lease of life to the duffle coat, making it a must-have trend for many.

So much so that in colder countries in the west, the traditional duffle style has seen a resurgence, thanks to this cool screen bear. A survey discovered that the classic navy and wooden toggle style from the film is out-performing the rest in the UK, with a 70% spike in sales. Celebrities too have been spotted enjoying the trend, with Lily Allen, Alexa Chung, Taylor Swift and One Direction all wearing the look.
