As the day of visarjan nears, the popular areas with must see pandals turn into khau gallis. Delicious refreshments to eat on the go, are an essential part of the pandal hopping trail. After the list of must see dekhavas, we bring to you the dishes that you can gorge on whilst visiting the famous Ganpati pandals of the city.

Napolean Sandwich and Bhutta near Tambdi Jogeshwari
Napolean, Born in Agra and Mumbai Mix are just three out of the 118 varieties of sandwiches available at Supreme Sandwich Corner. A sumptuous garnish of cheese and veggies complete the grilled sandwiches available here. If you are someone who likes to keep moving, the bhutta is a perfect option for eating. Available in different sizes, the corn gets a tangy twist with the masala and lemon rubbed on it after roasting.

Pav Bhaji and Bhel near Shaniwar Wada
Yes it all starts from here. Given its proximity to the Kasba Ganpati, the first Manacha Ganpati, a large number of people start their trail from Shaniwar Wada. Just round the corner is a plethora of food items available. Pav bhaji, bhel-puri, parathas or just a simple cup of chai, you name it and you get it. Though the rains have reduced the number of visitors during the previous days, the stall owners are confident of doubling the number of people coming here during the final days.

Chai and Kulfi near Tulshibaug
A cup of chai might come in handy to keep you warm, on a rainy day. A group of youngsters have started a makeshift tea joint named Tatya's Tea Stall near Tulshibaug for visitors who fancy a cuppa after a long walk. For those who want to try something cold, you could give the malai kulfi at the Maharashtra Kulfi point a try. Some stalls around also sell revdi and tilachi wadi for those with a sweet tooth.

Chana Jor Garam at Appa Balwant Chowk
Dry and spicy, the chana jor garam has attracted a lot of visitors who come to visit the Tambdi Jogeshwari and Dagdusheth Ganpati. Chana, papdi and murmura mixed with salt, masala and a tinge of lemon juice is enough to make your mouth water. If you are lucky, you might also catch the paneer roll vendor who keeps moving around. Hot rolls with paneer fillings and ketchup are sure to satisfy your hunger.
