If applied in the right way at the right places, it can instantly brighten up a tired face, make the eyes look bigger and give the lips a voluptuous feel. Moreover, it is the ultimate highlighter in your cosmetic bag.
If you're ready to ditch your usual colour and go white this party season, here are some 'how-tos' to get the ball rolling in the right direction.
Modern cat eyes
Trace your upper lash line with a black liner. It must be a little thicker as it nears the end. Accentuate it with a white flick at the corner for a modern cat-eye effect.
Colour me double
Apply any other shade like green or blue on the lower lash line with a white line on the inner corner. This will create the illusion of bigger eyes.
A winged affair
To create a 60s-inspired look, use the white eye pencil like any other liner, but with a thick winged look. Remember: the thicker the line, the bolder the look.
A flash of white
To give your black eyeliner an edgy makeover, add a hint of white to the inner corners. The dash of white will create a soft, dreamy effect.
