Choose the ware

The suitable utensils which are microwaveable are porcelain, Bone China, glassware (plain sans intricate designs) and microwave safe high end plastic ware

Set the power

It is always advisable to set the power right. Reheating the food in 100 percent power is avoidable. Set the power to 30, 50, 80, etc in accordance with how hot or how evenly you want your food to be reheated. The lower the power, the more time does it take to heat. But this method ensures even heating of food.

Use a microwaveable lid

A microwaveable lid is an essential. Never heat food without a lid, in absence of which the food particles not while getting hot stick to the microwave leaving it untidy.

Use the gloves

It is desirable to wear the glove to remove the heated utensil containing the food. Sometimes, certain utensils become too hot from outside that it may cause minor burns.
