Gone are the good ol' churidar bottoms or the flowy salwars. From Boho to high street formalwear cuts, these are all finding their way into Indian designs on the runway and the red carpets.
Womenswear now sees ghagra-pants, which have a more Western silhouette to the traditional shararas as well as the skirt-pants, which many of the high street European brands have taken fancy to this season. Similarly, tapered trouser fits too have become popular.
As far as menswear goes, Boho influences like harem pants and palazzos are seen with the dhotipants. The jodhpuri too has taken a more Western twists.
