Model and actor Sudhanshu Pandey talks to TOI about his fitness regime.

My fitness regime
My fitness regime is very simple and I follow it religiously. I do weights thrice a week, which is followed by cardio on the next three days. I take a day's rest and on that day, I have absolutely no control over my diet. I indulge in north Indian food. I do everything that I avoid doing the rest of the week.

My diet
I consider diet very important and strongly believe that no matter how much one works out, if the diet isn't right, it won't work. I am a health-conscious person as I only eat brown rice and green vegetables throughout the week. I also have fruits and skimmed milk thrice a week.

My weakness
I would say my waist is a bit problematic as is the case with most people, but it's not uncontrollable.

My strength
My shoulders and my arms are my strength. I'm lucky to have been gifted with good core strength and that makes its easier for me to get muscle mass on.

Preferred workout
Keeping my mind and body clean, eating healthy and drinking plenty of water. I avoid eating junk and hit the gym at least four times a week. Yoga helps to cleanse my mind.

Workout music
I prefer listening to peppy songs while exercising. It just sets the mood right. Of late, I'm listening to Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani while working out.
