On the other hand, according to a poll for Monster, some 29 per cent think they could do a better job themselves, while another one in four would put a colleague in the post instead.
"So many people wanting to vote themselves into their boss's position shows many workers have confidence and drive. This is ultimately good for any organisation," the Daily Star quoted Mary Ellen Slayter, from the recruitment firm, a saying.
