Make your own neckpiece
Funky neckpiece make for trendy style statements. They can pep up even the most ordinary outfit. To make your own brand new neckpiece, you just need a nice old necklace and good quality nail paint in any neon shade. Now paint the necklace carefully, 2-3 coats are more than enough. Carefully wipe off the extra nail paint in the outer corner by nail polish remover/acetone. Let it dry for about 30 minutes to an hour and you are all set to wear it.
Add colour to bangles
Thankfully, glass bangles are making a sweet come back. Get colours of thread (yellow, pink, green and could be decent pick, purple). With a pen, make little marks on your bangle so that you can easily wrap the thread around it. A bangle with different colours like green, yellow, light red and a tinge of silver could really add to your look. Make plenty of them and wear many of them to make your hands look fuller and beautiful.
Fancy glitter heels
It's time to let your hair down in parties and the wedding season is also here now. Fancy footwear with glitter heels will help you stand out, literally! All you need is a pair of old bellies or stilettoes, fine glitter, glue, old paint brush and tape. Remember glitter is tacky to handle, so be careful. Stuff some old newspaper inside your shoes and tape the heels (in case if one is not planning to paint the heels). Apply the glue with the brush to a small area of the shoe then using the same brush or take another brush to apply the glitter on to the area where you have applied the glue. Go part by part and after it's done then let it dry for for 5-6 hours under the fan. Set it with any spray (hair spray will do). Then, you are you are ready to go!
Leather it out
Belts are back in trends and nothing to match a trendy leather belt on a little black dress. To get yourself a new, attractive and artistic belt, all you need is old used leather belt. Scrape it with limestone till you see marks on it. Paint random shapes all over the belt, make intricate patterns. You can try horizontal or vertical stripes at regular intervals. Figure out some of your own techniques.
Clutches are in
Sequin clutch has been a staple style statement at parties and it gives ready-to-go for party wear. All you need is a net fabric cloth, fabric glue, sequin trims and a zipper. Cut two pieces of the fabric cloth based on the size of the zipper. Now either you can glue the two pieces using fabric glue or sew the edges. And get the zipper stitched. Measure the sequin trim to the length of the pouch and glue it down, add colourful sequins and beads in a haphazard manner. Voila! You have your stylish clutch.
