Don't trust other people
Often when we feel guilty, it is usually due to others. It can be your parents, friends, boyfriend, husband, anyone who blame you for not living upto their expectations. This is when we end up feeling guilty the most. Try not to brood over things that other people tell you, else there won't be any option but to feel guilty about what they say.
Put yourself first
Often women tend to forget about themselves and care only about people who matter to them. In such a scenario, it is very easy to start feeling guilty about things you possibly could not do and had to sacrifice for someone. Thus it is very important to think about yourself so that you are happy and don't end up feeling guilty about anything.
Do your best
Often it is not only about other people. It could be due to lack of self confidence or not being able to do something. For example, we often blame ourselves for making mistakes or not succeeding in something.
It's not your fault
You also need to consider the fact that it's always not your fault. Often it is due to circumstances or situations that force us to behave/act in a certain way and this does not mean that you've purposely tried to hurt someone. So stop feeling guilty about everything and learn to enjoy your life.
