My personal de-stress mantra is...
Watching movies and talking to my friends. Watching movies is my ultimate stress-buster because it acts as an escape from reality. Another thing I do when I'm stressed out is, call up my friends and speak to them. My profession is very stressful, and these two things work well for me. I regularly get a head massage, if not a body massage done at the spa. Sometimes, when I'm at home, I apply some soothing oil on my hair and massage my head lightly.
In my leisure time...
I like to read. But more than that, I like spending time online on social networking sites, watching videos and surfing. I am regularly active on a micro-blogging site. It's a nice way to while away time. I like reading short stories because they are easier to read and finish. Also, I listen to music in my free time.
A cook or a foodie...
I do enjoy cooking occasionally. I can prepare simple stuff like vegetable pulav, dal and subzis. Chocolate is my weakness and I indulge in it often. I'm not high on experimenting with food. I am a vegetarian and so, my options are limited. Even for my shoots, I get food from home, which consists of typical Manglorean fare. Rice is compulsory and so are coconut-based vegetable curries.
My hobbies...
I'm not formally trained in dancing but I love to dance and would love to do more of dance numbers in films. I love to sing and have trained in Hindustani classical for two years. My mother thought I would become a singer. But then, modelling happened and eventually films. I keep singing and humming songs throughout the day and I really want to get back to singing properly.
Homebody or party animal...
I only like to party with people I'm comfortable with. I have always preferred house parties. Very rarely do I go clubbing. I would really like to go for a picnic soon.
