The price of withdrawing cash from ATMs overseas is the cost travellers dread the most, according to a survey.

The survey by flight deal website Skyscanner has also revealed ten most hated holiday rip-offs, indicating the problems a traveler faces in handling money in the foreign holiday destination, News.com.au reported.

These include using credit cards to pay for expenses along the way, as each time one is charged an international transaction fee.

While the next most-hated holiday fee is to pay for "over-hyped and overpriced" organised tours, being forced to pay for hotel Wi-Fi access is rated as the third biggest rip-off.

The hate list also includes paying Taxi fares, followed by credit card charges and the payment for a sunbed.

Other common fees include Duty free "bargains"; late check-out fees at hotels, buying bottled water and tipping in bars and restaurants.
